- Amadou Isaacs, aka Teyshan, aka Xan, is a Vancouver based sound guerrilla who draws his inspiration from the vibrant Canadian underground electronic scene. Inspired in the late nineties with the bionic sounds of Drum and Bass as purveyed by acts like LTJ Bukem, Kosheen and Mampi Swift, he started the Deepspace lab sessions at the Alibi Room with DJs Mickey & Simon, DJ Sho, and instillation artist Tyler Brett. Later focusing on his solo production efforts he has made the CBC Radio3 broadcast under the alias Faktion, as well as being featured on their podcast. Splitting his time between original electronic compositions and remixes in genres ranging from Drum and Bass to Electro House, Grime and Downtempo, Xan is constantly pushing new boundaries in sonic cross pollination.
