About Me:
Liquid K-ZN is a two-men South African Hip Hop Crew. This duo constists of Yzmen Temple (pronounced wiseman temple - real name Zama Lwazi Ntimbane) and Alligatah MC (pronounced alligator emcee - real name Thami David Ntimbane). The group's style is a mixture of streets and conscious African lyricism. The languages used are English and Zulu (a South Afican Native Language). The crew consist of two main producers, Simply Fett and Alligatah MC, Simply Fett (The Main Producer) is based in Dusseldorf Germany and he is the C.E.O. of the Indie label DOPESOUNDS NETWORK. Liquid K-ZN has done a number of tours, including 3 European tours in 2004 and 2005. Eropean fans may expect another tour late this year. Liquid K-ZN is based in Durban and Empangeni. A number of artists have worked with this crew, to mention a few: Skye Wanda, DJ P-Kuttah, Battlekat, Abiku, Sake of Skill, Evalanche, Spaceman, Mic - G, Yang Marcus, Shon G, Spoken Silence, Secret Service...The list goes on. Hydrology was the first full length Album released in 2005 (Excluding the Euro Tour Mixtape in 2004). Hydrology earned the crew a lot of street cred and two spots on the Hype Sessions (Volume 6 and Volume 10) Currently, Liquid KZN is working on 3 projects: Timezone Mixtape (a compilation of South African and German artists - Due early 2008, Stimga (a 5 track pre-release EP which will be available FREE) and AQUAFLOW ASSIGNMENT (an 18 track album). Also in the pipeline, look out for the site liquidkzn.com coming in mid 2008.
